Hamilton’s Tented Camp

Hamilton's Tented Camp is named after Colonel Stephenson Hamilton, who was instrumental in establishing the Kruger National Park.

The lodge consists of 6 luxury tents, sleeping 12 guests as well as 6 double rooms. Each tent comes complete with a romantic slipper bath and out-door shower overlooking spectacular views of the Ngwenyeni Dam.

The comfortable beds are romantically draped with mosquito nets. Each tent has a private veranda with timber walkways linking it to the rest of the camp.

All the rooms are air-conditioned and have an intercom service linking the rooms.

The central area includes an airy, open tented lounge and a secluded swimming pool for ultimate privacy. The chef will prepare personalised cuisine for each guest.

Hamilton's Tented Camp is situated in the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Best known for the 'Big Five' - Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino - the Kruger Park is the flagship of Africa and South Africa's game reserves. There are no restricting fences between the Private Game Reserves and the Kruger Park, so exciting wildlife encounters in the open veld are the order of the day, and game viewing here is truly a spectacular experience.
