Jaci's Safari Lodge

Jaci's Safari Lodge is situated on an ideal spot overlooking an established and well used waterhole, under a grove of Tamboeti trees, on the edge of the Marico River in the "malaria free", Madikwe Game Reserve. The main complex is different - open plan - and curved around a huge anthill under the shady trees overlooking the waterhole. Upstairs in the main central area is the bar and a deck overlooking the bushveld, as well as a quiet reading area.

The rooms have tented windows that are rolled up each dayJaci's Safari Lodge consists of only eight double rooms each complete with a fire place for those cool evenings, and an overhead fan for the warmer days. The cool thatched en-suite rooms are a charming mix of local stone and huge tented windows which are opened up to let in the summer breezes giving you that special African Safari atmosphere. Each room also has it's own private wooden deck overlooking a running stream where the game come down to drink and each en-suite bathroom has an enormous handcrafted "rock" bath and an outside bush shower.

Both bedrooms have canvas "walls", a handcrafted stone bath and outdoor bush safari shower. The rooms overlook the private wooden deck with its inviting plunge pool. Stretch out in a hammock on the deck and watch the game come to drink at the waterhole below. Chefs will prepare delicious meals for you in the privacy of your own retreat.
