Rhulani Safari Lodge

Rhulani Safari Lodge is situated in the Malaria Free premier 75,000 hectare Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province of South Africa. Rhulani means "relax" and here you can be assured of doing just that! At Rhulani you will succumb to the peace and tranquility of its spectacular setting. The indoors and outdoors merge effortlessly ensuring you magnificent views of the surrounding bush. Water cascades gently into the meandering rock pool around which you will find ample sun or shade provided by beautiful old Marula trees, an ideal spot for quiet contemplation.

Consisting of only 7 air-conditioned luxury chalets; each spacious, en-suite chalet comes complete a mini bar, indoor and outdoor shower and a private deck and plunge pool offering spectacular views of the surrounding bushveld.

Rhulani also offers an air-conditioned, Luxury family suite that boasts a lounge area, private deck with plunge pool, en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor shower and a mini bar.

Central facilities include a library with an interesting selection of books for your reading pleasure, a lounge, pool, boma and dining area and a bar.

Sensational game viewing opportunities awaits you at Rhulani…… whether from the open Land Rover or on foot with your experienced game ranger or from right in front of the lodge at the nearby water-hole. On the morning and evening game drives guests are likely to see the endangered Wild Dog and possibly Cheetah, and will typically encounter three to four of the “Big 5” in a single game drive!

Weather and whim dictate where you would prefer to dine and meals and drinks are scheduled around game viewing activities. Traditional Southern African cuisine is complimented by a selection of world-class local wines and dining alfresco under a glorious African night sky, warmed by a roaring fire, is a magical way to end a perfect day.
