White Elephant Safari Lodge
White Elephant Safari Lodge located in the Pongola Game Reserve is nestled at the foot of the majestic Lebombo mountains and the shimmering waters of Lake Jozini.
 Originally built in the 1920’s, the lodge accommodates 16 guests in luxurious 5-star tented accommodation, recapturing the history and romance of the ‘colonial era’. The vast verandah, sparkling pool, sweeping views and tranquil setting provide the venue for a unique African experience. Eight-safari tent with en-suite bathroom, outdoor canvas shower, private verandah and personal bar, ensure a secluded retreat in an unspoilt savanna bushveld teeming with game and bird life.

Venture into the wilderness on guided walks, game drives or ‘elephanting’ and learn about nature’s intricacies and wonders. Guests may also participate in rhino walks or in the exciting elephant racking program for “close encounters of the elephant kind”.
Lodge facilities include a boma/lapa, swimming pool and private water hole with viewing hide as well as an open-air dining area.
